The nausea has passed and I am officially hungry again! Can you tell I am excited? I've been so sick these first few months that I have actually lost weight. Now don't worry, baby is growing and doing fine. And the mama is way pumped to be down a total of 14lbs!!! So on to the cravings... This time around is way different than it was with Jack. I am craving the strangest things and things that I normally hate. Here's the short list: Swiss cheese, steamed cabbage, Philly Cheese Steak Subway, Apples, Nectarines, Avacodos and BBQ Lays. With Jack it was pancakes, Hostess cupcakes, White Castle, Mexican food and anything with Peanut Butter. I still am wanting Mexican this time too, but I wouldn't call that a total craving. I love Mexican food anytime. So do you think that with the difference in cravings that maybe this just might be a girl this time around???
So I took Jack with me to my appointment this week. He took the whole experience in with wide eyes. He loved the rolling stool for the doctor. He climbed up and pretended he was the doctor. He diagnosed me with some made up word in Jack language. When I asked how bad that was, he said very bad. Then he proceeded to put out his little hand and say, "Fifty dollars please." My doctor got a great kick out of all of this and said he was quite the little professional and that I was getting quite a discount too. He loved hearing the heart beat too. My doctor asked him what he thought about it all and he told her, "Yep, his brothers and sisters were in there." She replied back to him that she was sure it was just one and did he think brother or sister. His answer, "brothers and sisters." We'll, have to see what he has to say when only one shows up this summer. I hope he's not too disappointed.
