Bike Riding

It's amazing how much has changed since last year. My little man is growing up! Last year he screamed if you tried to put on his Elmo bike helmet. This year he couldn't wait to get it on. He even tried to put it on himself and then he hurried to jump into his bike seat! We took our first bike ride of Spring yesterday. I love Spring, when all the trees and flowers are blooming. It is beautiful and wonderful. I love the simple pleasures of bike riding and playing at the park. I have to remind myself to savor all the moments because time flys way too fast. I love to watch Jack play and to listen to his laugh! I can remember being pregnant with him and wondering how his laugh would be... I couldn't have imagined a better little laugh! He is such a social little bee! He always seems to find a friend at the park playground too. I like that. Life is so much easier if you aren't shy. I love his imagination too. It has been so much fun to watch it develop over the last few months. He really has a great imagination. His favorite pretend game is to make believe the playground structure is a rocket ship. It often changes from a rocket to boat and then a train just like the Little Einstein Show. Sometimes Daddy joins in and they decide which planet they will blast off to next. It is cute to hear them both yell, "Blast off!" I love our family walks in the park too. Jack often wants to walk too this year. He reminds me often that he is a big boy and wants to walk, no stroller for him. Man how fast they grow!
